No Jim, I think you're mistaken: I'm extremely helpful when I can
be bothered to help and abusive when you just won't get lost when I
ask you to.
Matt Matt, can you help me with this? Matt, I need to test Jabber,
can you do this for me? Matt, my Amiga died, can you help? Matt Matt,
can I ask you a question?
No, you can't. I'm sick of being hounded by people on IRC because they
think I can help them. Of *course* I can help, I'm a goddamn genius,
but that doesn't mean I want to :)
Please direct all support requests to the channel and interested
parties will step forward and deal with them. Do not hound me
personally for support, Jimbo. If I find a break from the 4 or 5
coding projects I'm sitting on, and the bugtesting Voyager (and no,
I have no idea when there will be a release) and oh NEVER ask me
about bugs in Voyager or how to code HTML to get it to work in
Voyager either...
I dunno, I guess I sit on IRC in #amiga to get away from work, not to
have it thrust back onto me, or have abuse hurled at me because I'm
not wetting my pants over Eyetech's new dongle.
